Under new management since 2008 The Top Bell, unsurprisingly placed at the top of the high street, has gone from strength to strength. A no-drug/no-fights/no-aggro pub, the Top Bell with its friendly young and vibrant staff make it feel like an extension of your own home - but with all your favourite beers, spirits and music to boot.
Indeed The Top Bell has managed to place itself as the music venue of choice for Leighton Buzzard. They have housed some of the top up and coming acts from around the area and further afield. Every other Saturday is the bands night where they have attracted names such as Showgirl Suicide, The Little Villens, The Wutars, Ogdens Magic Fustbatter, The Friday Nights, The Pretty Thieves, The Whybirds, Imicus....the list goes on and on. Even when the bands aren't on there is a cracking jukebox behind the bar so just ask for your favourites and the bar staff will kindly deliver.
On top of this the pub has created a real live community with pool and darts teams, open mic nights, X factor style competitions, karaoke nights, fantasy football leagues, charity events and barbecues to name but a few. There always something new and exciting going on there so best bet is to get down there and sample the atmosphere for yourself.
With extended late night licenses on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
