Andrew Thompson Garden Design offers a bespoke design and construction service for domestic and commercial clients providing unique designs and planting schemes.

Garden building can also be undertaken using trusted contractors.

Service includes an initial site visit, consultation and design to your requirements and budget. (Initial consultation is free within 30 miles of Leighton Buzzard.)

Andrew has been designing and building gardens since 2002 and has developed an extensive portfolio of work.

Gardens are created in close collaboration with the client and are designed with strong emphasis on practicality alongside aesthetic requirements.

Initial consultation on site is to discuss clients’ requirements and to understand the practicalities including the budget. Within a few weeks a sketch is produced with a rough estimate of costs. These form the basis for further discussion of alternative ideas with the client. The scale design is then drawn up with information on materials and planting schemes. A quote is prepared at this stage.

Please call Andrew Thompson if you would like a consultation.

Just a short note to say how happy we are with the design & implementation of our new garden. As you know, we had little idea of what we wanted, our only requirement was to soften the squareness and to remove the now unused fish pond.

Your idea to turn the hole into a sunken patio was excellent! This along with the sweeping lines of grass and planted areas make a for a dramatic vista. All visitors (even tradespeople!) make a point of saying what an interesting garden we have. Quite something for a standard square, flat, plot of land attached to a modern house in Milton Keynes. We would also like to say how smoothly you created our new garden with a minimum of upheaval, especially as we wanted to discuss/make changes as you were in the middle of it!

Even after the two months or so since it was completed, we still find it surprising to look out of the window!

Mr. and Mrs. S of Milton Keynes

The garden is looking lovely, and the periodic showers have provided enough
rain to date, though I think Dave will have to do some watering tonight.

Mrs. R of Linslade

Thanks for coming to the garden party on Saturday. It was a shame the rain dictated that it was more of a carport party than a garden party, but it was a great success nonetheless and everyone loved the new garden!

Mrs. P. of Neath Hill

...The bog garden is really beginning to settle down now and we are absolutely delighted with it. The water sound is just what we wanted...

Mrs. G of Great Linford

Many thanks for a lovely garden design and for bringing it to reality

Mrs L. of Bletchley
