There will be something to appeal to everyone in Leighton's All Saints Church on Saturday, 25 September, when talented folk from the town will be putting on displays of their work for people to see, admire and buy.
Make and Sell is an event designed to show off what local people can do and at the same time benefit All Saints Preservation Trust, which is funding the ongoing repair programme the 700 year old building.
Amongst the many crafts on view will be home produced jewellery, patchwork, cakes and pickles, sugar craft, cross stitch, knitting, wood turning, painting and sculpture. "We have also been promised bird boxes for sale, baby clothes, Christmas cards, crackers and decorations and more", said organiser Janet Wenborn, "so we hope people will come along, see for themselves what Leighton Buzzard can do and them buy quality items which have been made with care and great attention".
The event is open from 10am-3pm and refreshments will be available through the church's coffee shop.
